Headteacher's welcome letter
I would like to offer you a very warm welcome on behalf of the whole school community- we're glad you found us! I hope you will find out more about us through exploring the various sections and pages of our website, which we are in the process of updating.
We are a one form entry, Church of England lower school in the expanding village of Meppershall, in Central Bedfordshire. Increasingly we also serve communities further afield. While our ethos, vision and values are rooted in Christianity, we welcome everyone regardless of their faith background. Find out more here.
Our children enjoy coming to school and feel safe because of our caring and supportive approach and because they are at the heart of every decision we make, Our focus is on enabling every child to flourish. This along with our core Christian values, and a team of committed staff, governors and PTA, is what makes this school special. Read more about our ethos and vision here or under the Our School tab.
We strive to offer the best education, aspire to be the best we can be and have high expectations of all members of our school community. Please look at our Curriculum and Curriculum Enrichment pages to see how we put this into action.
We have strong links with the local village community and our Parish Church of St Mary's and you can find out more about both here.
If you would like to find out more about us and discover if our school is the best place for your child, then I hope you will find the information you are looking for here. If you need further information, do please get in touch by phone or email. Details are on our Contact page.
Thank you for visiting us via the website but to get a real feel for all we offer, please do come and meet us in person. Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus restrictions, this is not possible at the moment but we hope to be able to welcome you in the near future.
